Since the beginning of this year, a new version of the GearEngineer software is available.

The version comes with a variety of new features and functions including profile and flank modifications for cylindrical gears:

• Linear tip and/or root relief
• Circular tip and/or root relief
• Symmetric profile crowning
• End relief for right or left end of tooth or for both tooth ends
• Symmetric/asymmetric lead crowning

Furthermore the output of nominal data is now possible. After sucessful test-runs with proper results, the GearEngineer software now includes a new highlight - a tooth contact analysis (TCA) to calculate and visualize the contact pattern of gears.
