New in GearEngineer: Face coupling tooth geometry based on the Klingelnberg Zyklo-Palloid® system
GWJ Technology introduces the latest version of GearEngineer-software, expanding its capabilities for the calculation, analysis, and 3D modeling of face coupling tooth geometries.
The underlying geometry is based on a spiral bevel gear tooth form according to the Klingelnberg Zyklo-Palloid® system. This provides the basis for mathematically precise geometry definition, detailed analysis, and preparation for manufacturing.
- 3D tooth geometry calculation
- Contact pattern analysis to evaluate contact behavior
- Microgeometry definition and optimization
- High-resolution 3D models for further processing in CAM systems and use in various manufacturing processes, including 5-axis milling
From geometry to manufacturing:
The face coupling tooth geometry is not only defined based on the underlying spiral bevel gear geometry and represented as a 3D model. Its contact pattern can also be analyzed, and the geometry can be optimized through targeted microgeometry modifications.
This enables a continuous digital workflow with GearEngineer: From the mathematical definition of the tooth geometry through analysis and optimization to the manufacturing-ready 3D model.
