Next-Level Involute Spline Design

New capabilities extend the eAssistant/TBK involute spline module.

The eAssistant/TBK involute spline module has been further enhanced. An improved interference check helps detect potential collisions at an early design stage, thereby reducing assembly risks.

In addition, the input range for the pressure angle has been extended down to 1°, which is particularly relevant for applications such as injection-mold tool design where manufacturing deviations must be considered.

Helical involute spline shaft and hub connections, while rather uncommon and not standardized, are used in specific applications. In eAssistant/TBK, they can be easily calculated using custom input. By default, helix angles up to 45° are available; if required, this range can be extended via an optional activation up to 89°.

With these enhancements, eAssistant/TBK further increases its capabilities for the precise and application-oriented design of involute spline shaft and hub connections.
